This has over time been an ongoing and continually developing series on the operation of the Holy Spirit, especially as it pertains to the Empowering of the Spirit and the evidence / s of this empowering from a Biblical vantage point.
To help readers find what they are looking forward I am creating a 'Contents' list here.
To be practical I recommend you read the whole series, as naturally, ideas are built on early arguments from scripture and history.
As a side note, you can read how I approach scripture in the blog post in this link.
Posts.
Understanding the Presence Power and Purpose of the SpiritA series
1. The Baptism in the Holy Spirit and Tongues
2. What is the Empowering of the Spirit? https://www.thinkwritespeaklive.com/post/2018/11/28/what-is-the-empowering-of-the-holy-spirit
3. What can I expect? Tongues and the Empowering of the Holy Spirit.
4. Questions on Tongues
Connected but with a particular focus on ACTS 2
5. Pentecostals, Gibberish and Acts 2
6. Mockers Mock
Are modern cynics falling into the same faithless trap as those in Acts 2:13?

7. Hearing and Seeing the Spirit’s work
Does Luke show a difference in the 'hearing' of people when it comes to the word of God and his miraculous relevations?
8. Were the Tongues at Pentecost Evangelistic or Worship?
This is important, if the Wonders of God spoken of shows Tongues as worship, the 'missionary' language argument fails.

Why Wes Huff is wrong about Tongues Whilst more responsive, this broadly fits in this general series. https://www.thinkwritespeaklive.com/post/why-wes-huff-is-wrong-about-tongues After reading the series, if you have any additional questions, feel free to send me them :)
